Dr. Michael Belz

I know I can reach anywhere in the ventricle, make better fine movements, and ensure I’m in constant contact when creating lesions.
Dr. Michael Belz has dedicated over 30 years of his life to the practice of cardiac EP. When joining the EP physicians at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, WA – a high-volume site with experienced Stereotaxis users – Dr. Belz wasn’t quite sure what to think of the robotic catheter ablation technology. But, after interacting with a simulation of the Stereotaxis system, he was intrigued. After performing his first ablation procedure with RMN – an outflow tract PVC – with exceptional outcomes, he was convinced.
Dr. Belz has emerged as the newest “champion” of Stereotaxis technology at Swedish, becoming more aggressive with choosing ablation treatment over medical management for his patients. “I know I can reach anywhere in the ventricle, make better fine movements and ensure I’m in constant contact when creating lesions,” he says.
Thanks, Dr. Belz, for combining decades of experience with a desire to find the best treatment options for your patients.
